    List of Ingredients

    6 oz. tomato paste (must say tomatoes only as ingredients)
    1/2 cup vinegar
    1 Tbsp. dried chopped onions (these are larger than the minced)
    Dash of allspice or cinnamon
    1 tsp. Splenda

    Recipe

    Heat vinegar and dried onions in a small pan. Whisk in tomato paste and add spice and Splenda. Heat over low heat till thoroughly mixed. Place in an airtight container and chill. I like a very sweet ketchup, but the sweetener could be omitted and spices such as cayenne pepper, dried red pepper flakes, etc. could be added to spice it up with a little heat.

    Variation: for a barbecue sauce, add Worcestershire** sauce and tabasco sauce**.

    **Note, these items are not particularly allowed on this program, but you would be using such a small amount that it would probably not affect results, if used occasionally.
