    Sauce: Balsamic Sauce for Veggies

    List of Ingredients

    1 medium sweet onions chopped
    1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar or more -- or red wine vinegar
    Garlic cloves chopped -- or garlic powder to taste
    1/2 teaspoon fresh basil minced (1/2 to 1)
    1 teaspoon sugar (1 to 2) or substitute

    Recipe

    Combine all ingredients. Mix together and let it sit for a while at room temp. Spoon it onto fresh steamed veggies and enjoy! It is good on any steamed veggies, and especially enjoyed on Broccoli, asparagus, green beans.
