    Herbed Potato Chips

    Recipe Introduction

    From member anuki: Don't crave for those potato chips that someone was eating in the elevator, make your own. I have tried these, they are delicious and even better than those greasy chips they sell in the stores.

    List of Ingredients

    * 2 medium red potatoes, unpeeled
    * 2 tbsp minced fresh or dried dill, thyme or rosemary
    * 1/4 tsp garlic powder
    * 1/4 tsp black pepper

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly spray non-stick baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray**, set aside.

    Cut potatoes crosswise into very thin slices, about 1/16 inch thick. Pat dry with paper towel. Arrange potato slices in single layer on baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, turn over, sprinkle mixture of spices onto potatoes, continue to bake for 10-15 minutes longer, or until potatoes are golden brown.
