    List of Ingredients




    2 Cans Crushed Tomatoes (canned – No Salt added)
    1 Med. Onion - chopped
    3 – 4 Cloves Garlic – chopped (or to taste)
    1 tsp. Ground Allspice
    Fresh Ground Black Pepper to taste
    3 Cups Cooked Minute Rice
    1 lb. Ground Turkey or Chicken “Burger”
    < 1 can Tomato Sauce if needed for extra moisture. (No Salt added)

    Recipe



    Brown “burger” until almost done. Add, onions and garlic, continue cooking until onions are transparent being careful not to burn garlic. Season with allspice and pepper. Separately cook rice, then add to mixture. Simmer to allow flavors to develop, adding more allspice and/or pepper if needed. (Red pepper flakes can also be added if you like and extra little kick).

    Makes 6 servings
