    Turkey: Mexican Turkey Rice

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb ground turkey
    1 large diced onion
    1-1/2 cups uncooked rice (I used brown)
    1 cup chopped green bell pepper
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp chili flakes
    1 can NSA diced tomatoes
    1 clove garlic, minced
    Oregano
    3 cups water

    Recipe



    In a large saucepan, saute onions and meat over medium-low heat. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Cover, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 30 to 40 minutes, or until rice is tender. Stir occasionally.
