    List of Ingredients




    1 pound root veggies, peeled, cut in chunks (parsnips, turnips or rutabaga)
    4 large carrots (1/2 lb total), peeled cut in 1 inch lengths
    1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
    pinch nutmeg

    Recipe



    Steam the vegetables until tender. this will ake about 20 minutes, or less if cut into smal cubes. Mash or puree the vegetables with the spices, addign some of the steaming water if a thinner consistency is desired.
