    Candied Squash

    List of Ingredients

    * 1 small acorn squash, cut in half, seeds removed
    * 2 tbsp Splenda
    * 1/2 tsp water
    * 1/8 - 1/4 tsp extract of your choice (vanilla, maple, vanilla butternut, etc.)

    Recipe

    Place squash halves cut side down in a shallow baking dish filled with an inch of water. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 8 to 10 minutes. While squash is cooking, mix remaining ingredients in a bowl. It will foam at first, but let sit and it will become more liquid. When squash is done, transfer to a plate with cut side up. Pour sauce over top and serve.
