Recipe Introduction
A great bread with fantastic texture. The recipe amounts for the 2 pound loaf will be in parenthesis. 1 1/2 pound loaf measurements are the ones not in parenthesis.
List of Ingredients
3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp (1 1/4 cups) water
3 cups (4 1/4 cups) bread flour
3/4 cup (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp (1/4 cup) sugar
1 Tbsp (1 Tbsp) dry milk
2 tsp (1 Tbsp) instant minced onion
1 tsp (1 1/2 tsp) salt
1 1/4 tsp (1 1/2 tsp) bread machine yeastRecipe
Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
Select Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use Delay cycle. Remove baked bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
Note: This bread is not recommended for machines with a cast-aluminum pan in a horizontal loaf shape.
