List of Ingredients
- 1/2 lb pork ribs, cut up
- 1 bag red radishes, peeled
- 1 bunch mustard greens
- 1 pkg KNORR tamarine soup base *asian store*
- 1 small onion, quartered
- 1 small tomato, quartered
- salt
- pepper
- white rice
Instructions
- In a large pot, add pork ribs and cover about 2-3 inches with water. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat to medium and cook until meat is almost done. Scrap fat off the top of water.
- Add onion and tomato and cook 5-7 minutes.
- Add soup base, salt and pepper. Stir and cook 5 minutes.
- Add radishes. Simmer until radishes are tender.
- Add mustard greens on top of soup. DO NOT STIR - soup will become bitter. Cook until greens are done.
- Serve with white rice.
Final Comments
This soup is good with some fish sauce and a banana. You could even add a few whole jalapeno peppers for a little bit of a bite.
