- 1/3 cup imitiation or real crab meat
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp fine chopped chives
- 1 pkg large wonton wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Using your hands, shred the crab meat into a bowl. Mix with cream cheese, garlic powder, and chives. Shape into three-fourths-inch balls and chill well.
- Place chilled mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper and seal wonton by bringing the center of each outer edge together. This will make the corners fold into each other. (Egg wash works best when sealing the dough.) Deep fry in 350*F oil until golden brown and serve.
