List of Ingredients
4 cups milk
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp granulated garlic
1/2 tbsp crushed red pepper
1-1/2 lbs velveeta cheese
1/2 medium onion
1 tbsp butter
5 tbsp melted butter
6 tbsp flour
5-10 oz. pkgs frozen spinach, thawed
1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
Recipe
Heat the milk with the next 3 ingredients to just below boiling, stirring frequently. reduce heat
Melt velveeta cheese in microwave. Add to milk mixture.
Saute onion in 1 tbsp butter. Add to cheese sauce
Combine 5 tbsp butter and flour in skillet. Cook over low heat for 4 min. stirring constantly to make a roux. Add to cheese sauce. Cook over medium heat until cheese sauce begins to thicken, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool for 15 minutes.
Squeeze spinach as dry as you can. Add to sauce and mix.
Spoon into greased approx,9X13 dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until brown.
