    MAKE THE NIGHT BEFORE

    Bake in 325° Oven for 1/2 Hour.
    Check with Knife to test - if comes out clean, it is done.

    List of Ingredients




    8 Slices fresh bread (trimmed of crust)
    Cheddar Cheese (grated)
    4 Eggs - beaten
    1 Pint milk
    1 tsp. Worchestershire Sauce
    About 1/2 Package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    Salt to Taste
    Ham, dried beef, corned beef or similar meat)

    Butter both sides of bread, place 4 slices in baking dish. Best to use one more or less - depending on the size of slices to fit the pan. Cover the bread about 1/2 inich with crumbled meat. Put the remaining 4 slices (buttered) on top and cover with grated cheese.

    Combine eggs, milk and Worchestershire sauce. Pour carefully over and around the bread and cheese and meat. Sprinkle onion soup mix and salt over all.

    Set in the refrigerator overnight.

    About one hour before serving, set casserole in a pan of water and bake in a 325° oven until knife comes out clean. (May serve with hot mushroom soup).
