    Bake 350° - 55 Minutes

    List of Ingredients




    1 Stick butter (margarine)
    1 1/4 C. Sugar
    2 Eggs
    1 - 16 oz. Jar Beets
    2 1/2 C. Flour
    1 1/2 t. Allspice
    1 t. Cinnamon
    1/4 t. Cloves
    4 t. Baking Powder
    1 t. Soda
    1 C. Chopped Walnuts - Optional

    Recipe



    Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well.

    Blend beets in a blender or food processor until smooth. Add dry ingredients alternately with beets to the butter mixture - mix well.

    Turn into greased and lightly floured 9 Cup Bundt Pan. Bake 350° for 55 minutes or until tests done.

    Cool on rack for 30 minutes before removing from pan.

    Sift powdered sugar over top of cooled cake.
