Recipe Introduction
This was someone elses recipe that I modified. It is so good, that I couldn't pass up putting it on this recipe file. It's quick and easy to make. Tastes better, the next day. Serves 4-5, at about 8 carbs each.
List of Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 small onion
small head of cabbage-shredded
2-6oz. tomato sauce
6oz. green chilies
shredded cheeseRecipe
Brown 1lb ground beef with a little onion, drain then toss in a small head of shredded cabbage. Saute until the cabbage just starts to get limp then pour in a can of tomato sauce, and green chilies, turn up the heat and let simmer until most of the tomato juice is gone - top with shredded cheddar and dish it up
(Salt and pepper the beef if you want after you drain it.)
Makes about 4-5 big servings around 8g carbs each.
