    Ammachi’s Aloha Pate

    Recipe Introduction

    45 minutes / 3-4 servings

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 C Almonds
    1/2 C Cashews or macadamia nuts
    1/2 C Sunflower seeds
    1/3 C Carrot, chopped
    1/3 C Beet, chopped
    2 Tbl Leek, rinsed well & diced
    1/4 C Daikon radish, diced
    1/4 C Green bell pepper, diced
    1 Tbl Basil, Italian parsley or cilantro, minced
    1/2 tsp Garlic, minced (optional)
    • Sea salt, to taste
    • Black pepper, ground to taste
    dash Nama shoyu (optional)
    Loving preparation

    Recipe

    1. Place all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. A small amount of water may be added to ensure ease in processing.

    Serving suggestions

    For best results allow to sit for several hours or overnight before serving.

    This is a relatively “heavy” paté, good for those just transitioning to Live Foods.

    Use as a sandwich spread or as a spread on Raw Nori Rolls with avocado, sprouts, Nut Cheez (page 29 of cookbook) and grated veggies
