Recipe Introduction
Serve with crackers, use as a sandwich filler, or used to stuff celery.
This pate' keeps in the refrigerator for several days or can be frozen.
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sunflower seeds, ground
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 raw potato, grated
4 green onions, sliced
1 stalk of celery, grated
1 carrot, grated
1 Tbsp. oil
3/4 cup warm water
1 Tbsp. thyme
1 Tbsp. sweet basil
1 Tbsp. sage
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Gring the sunflower seeds in a blender. Mix all the ingredients together.
Press into a 9-inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until golden brown.
Let cool. Serve and enjoy.
Makes a 9-inch square cake.
