    It is ugly (green) but tasty!

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 cup water
    1 banana
    1 cup berries (blue, black, straw or rasp)
    1+ tbsp flaxseed
    1 tbsp green barley powder
    2 loose cups greens (kale, spinach)
    1 date (or more if you like it sweeter)
    1-2 cups ice

    Recipe

    Put everything but the ice in a blender/Vitamix except the ice. Once it is liquid, start adding ice cubes.

    This ends up fairly thick. You can taste the greens a bit but they aren't overpowering. I have also added a small piece of beet or a tiny, tiny piece of ginger (or both). It is the most satisfying thing! I really don't want anything else for hours. Very nutrient dense!
