Yield: 6 servings.
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup bulgar wheat
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup sauteed onions
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chicken-like seasoning
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup soaked garbanzos
1/2 cup cold waterRecipe
Stir bulgar wheat into boiling water in a heavy
saucepan. Stir until evenly moistened, place on a low
heat. Add onions, oil, and seasonings. Stir with fork
to mix. Blend soaked garbanzos with cold water until
fine. Add to bulgar wheat. Mix well. Drop from
tablespoon or scoop on lightly oiled skillet or baking
dish.
Cover, bake at 350 degrees F, 10 minutes. Turn. Cover.
Reduce heat. Cook 15 minutes. Serve with chopped
parsley and Tahini Sauce. Yield: 6 servings.
