    List of Ingredients




    1 cup fruit juice or 1/2 cup fruit puree and 1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup honey (or alternative liquid sweetener such as maple syrup or agave syrup)
    1 teaspoon vanilla -- optional
    4 cups rolled oats
    1/2 cup wheat germ
    1 1/2 cups natural coconut -- unsweetened
    1/2 cup flaxseed
    1/2 cup sunflower seeds
    2/3 cup nuts -- chopped
    1 cup crispy rice cereal (health food store brand)

    Recipe



    Mix first 3 ingredients together in a blender until ingredients are well blended.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a 11" x15" x 2" pan.
    Slowly add the fruit and honey mixture to dry ingredients, stirring well to evenly coat all ingredients. Bake in 300º oven for 30-40 minutes, removing every 10 minutes and stirring well. When cool, store in an airtight container.
    Variation: add dried fruit such as raisins, dates, cherries,
    cranberries, apricots or papaya after mixture cools.
