List of Ingredients
3 1/4 cups rolled oats
1 cup rice -- wheat or barley flakes
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup chopped brazil nuts
1/4 cup shredded coconut
2/3 cup mixed -- dried tropical

-- banana, papaya and mango chips
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup honey or rice syrup
Recipe
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In shallow roasting pan, combine all ingredients in order listed, stirring after each addition. Bake about 1 hour, until golden and crisp, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely. Break granola into bite-sized pieces. Store in airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week or freeze up to 2 months. Makes about 7 cups.
