    Apple-Nut Bars

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 c. Oats (quick rolled)
    3/4 c. Dates (chopped)
    1 tsp. Other (grated orange peel)
    1/2 tsp. Salt
    1/4 c. Walnuts (chopped)
    1/4 c. Oil
    1 c. Apples (raw, shredded)

    Recipe

    Combine all ingredients. Press together into a flat casserole
    dish. Let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Slice into little squares and enjoy.
    Note: Almonds would probably work well in place of the walnuts.
