    Kohlrabi Salad II (P, TNT)

    Source: From my mother with Love & more & Polla Oren Serves: 4-6

    List of Ingredients

    small, very fresh shiny kohlrabi, peeled and grated coarsely
    2 medium carrots, peeled and grated coarsely
    1 small fennel, cut in lengths, and cut in very small pieces
    1 tsp. very good balsamic vinegar
    2 tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tbsp. olive oil
    1 tbsp. sesame seeds, or caraway seeds
    Salt and freshly grated black pepper

    Recipe

    Leave for half an hour the grated kohlrabi in a sieve.

    In a bowl mix all the ingredients. Keep at least 1 hour in the fridge before serving.

    Poster's Notes: I just want to mention that it is important to leave the grated kohlrabi for half an hour with some salt in a sieve. This, I was told by our Oma Ruth. The same goes with radishes.
