Pasta, Pea, & Pepper Salad

List of Ingredients
1-cup yellow slit peas
2 ½ cup water
2/3 cup Italian dressing
8 oz bow-tie pasta
1 ½ cup cubed red, yellow, & green pepper
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
In a med. saucepan, bring peas and water to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25-35 minutes or until peas are tender. Drain. Transfer into mixing bowl and stir salad dressing into peas and set aside. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package. Toss pasta with peas and peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm or chilled.
