    This is a versatile recipe that can also be used over black beans and rice or as a cheese dip with corn chips. Take out the Mexican spice and it can be used to top veggies, baked potatoes, or baked into macaroni and cheese.

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup water (bring to a boil first with the cashews if you do not have
    a vita mix blender)
    3/4 cup raw cashews
    3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
    1 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
    2 teaspoons onion powder
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 cup pimientos, undrained
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1 teaspoon dill weed
    1 teaspoon cumin
    1 teaspoon chili powder

    Recipe



    Combine water and nuts in blender and blend until smooth. Don't be afraid to let the blender run for a few minutes. Add all ingredients and blend again. To thicken sauce (for dipping) pour into a pan and warm while stirring constantly.
