Whiz:
1 cup cold water or juice (pineapple is good)
1 1/2 Tbs. arrowroot powder
pinch of salt
Stir and simmer until clear over low heat. When thick remove from the heat
and add:
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon rind
1/3 cup honey (or alternative liquid sweetener)
Good on brownies, cakes, fruit dishes, rice pudding, etc. If thicker sauce
is desired, add 1/2 Tbsp. more arrowroot.
