    1 large yam, peeled and sliced into thin strips
    1 large potato, peeled and sliced into thin strips

    Water for either rinsing, or misting potatoes

    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1/2 tsp sea salt

    Recipe



    Preheat the oven to 450°F. Combine the potatoes, misted with water,
    chili powder, garlic powder, and cumin in a bowl, and toss well.
    Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25
    minutes. Halfway through, turn the fries over, and continue baking.
    After removing them from the oven, sprinkle them with the salt. Serve
    immediately.

    Makes 4 servings
