3 c. dried beans, any variety(pintos, kidneys, black.)
1 T. cumin
1 T. chili powder
1 T. salt
1 T. minced onion
1 tsp. cayenne pepperRecipe
Grind beans in a food grinder(Champion type works well)until they resemble flour.To prepare: Bring 2 1/2 c. water and 3/4 c. mix to a boil, stirring frequently.Cover, reduce to low, simmer 4-5 minutes until thick.Will thicken more as it cools.This is nice to keep on hand, especially for those busy days when your not there to cook beans all day.
