Mexican Cabbage Soup

List of Ingredients
1 qt. beef-style broth (McKay's or other)
14 oz can diced tomatoes w/ green chiles
1 cup textured vegetable protein or vegeburger crumbles
1 T. oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1.5 jalapenos, minced
1 t. or 2 cloves minced garlic
1 t. ground cumin
2 t. oregano
2 c. shredded cabbageRecipe
Combine the broth and tomatoes and heat in microwave.
Brown the reconstituted textured vegetable protein, and then add the onion, garlic and jalapeno. Add the cumin and oregano and then the broth and tomatoes. Stir in the shredded cabbage and bring to a simmer.
Garnish with oregano, a dash of lime juice, and half a cubed avocado.
