List of Ingredients
- 4 C tart cooking apples, sliced
- 2/3-3/4 C packed brown sugar
- 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 C quick-cooking or old fashioned oats
- 1/3 C stick butter, softened
- 3/4 tea ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tea ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375. Grease bottom and sides of square pan, 8x8x2" with shortening.
- Arrange apples in pan, mix remaining ingredients, sprinkle over apples.
- Bake 30 min or till topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
