List of Ingredients 5 Tb flour, divided 1/4 C cornmeal 1/2 tea salt 1/4 tea pepper 4 Cube Steaks (1 lb) 1 egg white 1 tea water 2 TB vegetable oil, divided Gravy: 1 TB butter 2 TB flour 1 1/2 C milk 1 tea beef bouillon granules 1/2 tea dried marjoram 1/4 tea dried thyme 1/8 tea pepper Instructions In a bowl, combine 3 TB flour, cornmeal, salt, and pepper; set aside. Place remaining flour in a large Zip-Loc bag, add the steaks and shake till covered. Beat egg white and water; dip steaks in egg mixture, then the cornmeal mixture. In a cast iron skillet, heat 1 TB oil over med-high heat. Cook steaks for 5-7 minutes on each side till crisp. Remove and keep warm. Gravy:Melt butter, stir in flour till smooth. Gradually add the milk; bring to a boil over med. heat. Boil 2 minutes stirring constantly, reduce the heat. Add the bouillon, marjoram, thyme, and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 4-5 minutes.
