    .38 Caliber Meatballs

    From "The Cop Cookbook"


    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 lb. ground beef
    • 1/4 lb. ground pork
    • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
    • 1 Tbsp minced parsley
    • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped (reserve about 1 clove's worth)
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1-1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
    • Vegetable oil seasoned with the reserved garlic and some minced onion
    • Your favorite meatball sauce


    Instructions


    1. Combine the first 10 ingredients and form into 1-inch meatballs. Pan fry in the oil mixture until brown.

    2. Place the meatballs in your favorite sauce and simmer for about 1 hour.

      Yield: About 3 dozen.
