    Artichoke Dip

    Recipe Introduction

    "Artichokes mixed with salty Parmesan cheese and creamy mayo are baked together until bubbling hot. This quintessential appetizer is served all across the South, from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Norfolk, Virginia."

    List of Ingredients

    ◦  3 to 4 cups cooked artichoke hearts, or one 15-ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
    ◦  1 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
    ◦  1 cup mayonnaise
    ◦  Minced onions, to taste
    ◦  Assorted crackers, for serving

    Recipe

    Heat oven to 350° F.

    Combine artichokes, cheese, and mayonnaise, mixing well. Stir in onions to taste. Spoon into an 8-inch square baking dish.

    Bake until bubbly and lightly browned.
    Serve with crackers.


    Makes 3 cups
