    Baked Brie with Pears

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (8-ounce) round of Brie
    • 3 Tbsp butter
    • 1 large pear, sliced
    • 2 Tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
    • 2 Tbsp pear vinegar
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • Gingersnaps


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

    2. Place Brie in an ovenproof dish. Bake until Brie is softened, 15 to 20 minutes.

    3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add pear slices to butter. Cook until pears begin to turn translucent along edges, 2 to 3 minutes. Add brown sugar, vinegar, and salt to pan, stirring to combine. Cook until sauce begins to reduce, 2 to 3 minutes. Pour over hot Brie.
      Serve immediately with gingersnaps.

      Makes 8 to 10 servings.
