    Baked Olives

    List of Ingredients


    • 36 large, meaty, cured Spanish olives
    • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/4 cup dry white wine
    • 1/4 cup Spanish extra-virgin olive oil
    • .
    • Thick slices of crusty bread


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

    2. Combine the olives, garlic, wine and olive oil in an oven-safe baking dish.

    3. Cover and bake until the olives plump up, about 20 minutes. Serve warm in the baking dish with thick slices of bread.

      Makes 8 to 10 servings.

      NOTES

      You can assemble the dish ahead of time and refrigerate in the baking dish for up to 2 hours before baking. You can also add fresh herbs, such as thyme, oregano, or rosemary.
