Beer-Batter Fried Shrimp

List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs. fresh shrimp, shelled and cleaned
- 1 (12-ounce) can beer
- 1 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- Pepper to taste
- Oil for deep-frying
Instructions
- Drain cleaned shrimp. Pour beer into a mixing bowl. Sift flour, salt, paprika and pepper into beer and beat with a wire whisk until frothy.
- Add a portion of the shrimp to the batter, coating well; deep-fry shrimp in hot oil until done.
- Lift from oil, drain, then finish draining on paper towels. Repeat the process until all shrimp are fried.
