    Celebration Deviled Eggs

    From "Gooseberry Patch Classics: Appetizers"

    List of Ingredients


    • 12 eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
    • 1 tsp chopped fresh chives
    • 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 tsp dry mustard
    • ½ tsp paprika
    • ½ tsp dill weed
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp pepper
    • ¼ tsp garlic powder
    • Milk


    Instructions


    1. Cut eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks. Place yolks in a shallow bowl and mash with a fork.

    2. Add remaining ingredients, except milk; stir well. If necessary, stir in a little milk to achieve desired consistency. Spoon yolk mixture into egg white halves. Cover and chill before serving.

      Makes 2 dozen.

    TIP
    Use a pin to prick a small hole in the large end of an egg before boiling it...keeps them from cracking!
