"Oh no! Guests are coming over and you don't have the time or energy to cook. Here is your saving grace: One sweep through the gourmet cheese aisle, a few boxes of fancy crackers, a bag of dried apricots, salted nuts, and fig jam, and suddenly you have one posh party platter on your hands."
List of Ingredients
◦ 1 (8-ounce) double-cream Brie round
◦ 1 (8-ounce) Parmigiano-Reggiano wedge
◦ 1 (8-ounce) Sage Famous Horserace wedge
◦ 1 (8-ounce) Huntsman cheese (Double Gloucester with Blue Stilton) wedge
◦ 2 (1-pound) bunches seedless grapes
◦ 2 ripe pears, cored and sliced
◦ 1 (6-ounce) package dried apricots
◦ 1 (13-ounce) jar fig preserves (or honey)
◦ 1 (15-ounce) package salted mixed nuts
◦ 4 (12-ounce) boxes assorted party crackers
◦ 1 (16-ounce) baguette, thinly sliced
◦ 1 cup cornichon pickles
◦ 2 cups assorted marinated olives
Recipe
Arrange cheeses, fruit preserves, nuts, crackers, baguette slices, pickles, and olives on a large platter or serving board.
