    Cheese Parcels

    List of Ingredients


    • 13 ounces frozen puff pastry
    • 13 ounces ripe Camembert or Brie cheese
    • Fresh herbs of choice
    • 2 eggs
    • Vegetable oil (for coating baking pan)


    Instructions


    1. Thaw the puff pastry. Preheat oven to 425 degrees (F).

    2. Grease a baking pan or sheet with vegetable oil. Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured work surface into a square about 1/8-inch thick. Cut the pastry into 4 equal squares.

    3. Cut the cheese into quarters and place one piece, together with the herbs, in the center of each pastry square. Fold the pastry, enclosing the cheeses, and pinch the edges well to seal them. Beat the egg and brush over each parcel.

    4. Transfer the cheese parcels to the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve hot.
