Chili Cheese Dip

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeno peppers
- 1 pkg. (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- Chopped fresh cilantro, optional
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except cilantro. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted and smooth.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
Makes 2-1/4 cups.
Final Comments
MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients (except cilantro) in a medium, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every 60 seconds, until cheese is melted and smooth.
