    Classic Blue Cheese Dip

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 cup whipping cream
    • 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
    • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
    • 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
    • 8 ounces blue cheese, crumbled (about 1 cup)
    • .
    • Fresh vegetables, such as celery and carrots cut into sticks, and cherry tomatoes


    Instructions


    1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine sour cream, whipping cream, cream cheese, onions, garlic, hot pepper sauce, salt, cayenne and parsley; process until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl and stir in crumbled blue cheese.

    2. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl; cover and chill at least 1 hour or up to 3 days before serving.

      Serve with a platter of fresh vegetables.

      Makes about 3 cups.
