    Classic Dill Dip

    From "The Ultimate Appetizers Book"

    List of Ingredients


    • One 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
    • One 8-ounce carton dairy sour cream
    • 2 Tbsp finely chopped green onion
    • 2 Tbsp snipped fresh dill or 2 teaspoons dried dillweed
    • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt or salt
    • Fresh dill sprig (optional)
    • Assorted vegetable dippers, chips, or crackers


    Instructions


    1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, green onion, dill, and salt with an electric mixer on low speed until fluffy. Cover and chill for at least one hour.

    2. If dip is too thick after chilling, stir in milk. Spoon into a serving bowl. If desired, garnish with a dill sprig. Serve with vegetable dippers, chips, and/or crackers.

      Makes 2 cups.
