    Decoy Bean Dip

    From "The Cop Cookbook"


    List of Ingredients


    • Two 10-1/2-ounce cans Frito's bean dip
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1 (8-ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    • 1 (1-1/4-ounce) pkg. taco seasoning mix
    • 20 drops (yes, exactly) Tabasco sauce
    • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
    • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    • 1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    • .
    • Tortilla chips


    Instructions


    1. With an electric mixer, combine all ingredients except the cheeses and the chips. Spoon mixture into a shallow, greased, 2-quart casserole dish. Top with the grated cheeses. (At this point, the dish may be refrigerated until near serving time).

    2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    3. Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until the cheeses are melted. Serve with a basket of crisp tortilla chips.

      Yield: 8 to 9 servings
