    Guess Club's Chili-Papaya Dip

    List of Ingredients


    • 8 fresh piments-lampion, or small habanero peppers, membranes and seeds removed, flesh minced
    • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 medium papaya, cut into small pieces
    • 1/2 tsp fresh ground ginger
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
    • Juice of 1 lime


    Instructions


    1. Mix chilies with garlic and salt; mash together. Add papaya pieces and mix well. Add ginger, turmeric powder and onions; mix again, mashing together with a fork or masher until the mixture has a pureed consistency. Add lime juice.

    2. Place the mixture in a pan and let it slowly cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

      Allow to cool to room temperature before serving.
