Happy Hour Mushrooms

List of Ingredients
- 10 medium-size mushrooms (about 1/2 lb.)
- 6 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
- 3 Tbsp shredded jack cheese
- 2 Tbsp dry white or red wine
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/3 cup fine cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Remove mushroom stems; reserve for other uses. Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter; brush over mushroom caps, coating well.
- Stir together remaining 4 tablespoons butter, garlic and cheese until blended. Mix in wine, soy sauce and cracker crumbs.
- Place mushrooms, cavity side up, on a rimmed baking sheet. Evenly mound filling in each, pressing in lightly. Broil about 6 inches from heat until lightly browned (about 3 minutes). Serve warm.
Makes 10 appetizers.
