- 10 ounces scallops
- 2 ounces grape seed oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 orange, sliced into 1/2-inch slices
- 1-1/2 ounces Grand Marnier
- 2 ounces butter
Instructions
- Heat oil in a saute pan. Season scallops with salt and pepper.
- Sear scallops for one minute on each side. Remove from pan.
- Reduce 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice with orange slices to 1/4 cup. Add Grand Marnier and flame. Return scallops to pan. Cook for about 1 minute. Remove from heat and swirl with butter.
Makes 2 servings.
