    Nut-Glazed Brie Cheese

    • 1/3 cup chopped, toasted pecans
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 1 Tbsp brandy
    • 14-ounce round Brie cheese (about 5 inches in diameter)
    • .
    • Sliced apples
    • Lemon juice
    • Crackers


    Instructions


    1. In a small mixing bowl, combine nuts, brown sugar, and brandy. Stir to mix well. Cover and chill until ready to use.

    2. To serve, place cheese on a 9-inch pie plate. Bake in a 500-degree oven for 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is slightly softened. Spread nut mixture on top and bake for 2 to 3 minutes more or until sugar is melted and cheese is heated through, but not melted.

    3. Meanwhile, brush apple slices with lemon juice.

      Arrange apple slices and crackers around cheese and serve.
