Stuffed Mushroom Caps

List of Ingredients
- 25 mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
- 1¼ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- One 3-ounce jar bacon bits
- ¾ cup bread crumbs
Instructions
- Rinse mushrooms and pat dry. Remove stems; set caps aside.
- Chop stems finely; sauté stems and onion in butter in a medium skillet. Remove from heat. Stir in the cheese, bacon bits, and bread crumbs, mixing well. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets; bake at 350° F for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
