    Sugar and Nut Glazed Brie

    List of Ingredients


    • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
    • ¼ cup chopped macadamia nuts or pecans
    • 1 Tbsp brandy
    • 1 round (14 ounces) brie cheese
    • .
    • Pear wedges, for serving
    • 2 to 3 Tbsp lemon juice
    • Plain-flavor crackers, for serving


    Instructions


    1. In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar, nuts and brandy. Cover and chill at least 24 hours or up to 1 week.

    2. Preheat oven to 500° F.
      Place brie on oven-proof platter or pie plate. Bake 4 to 5 minutes, or until brie is slightly softened.

    3. Spread sugar mixture in an even layer on top of the warm cheese and bake another 2 to 3 minutes, or until sugar melts. Brush fruit wedges with lemon juice and arrange them around one side of brie. Place crackers around other side of brie.

      Makes 16 to 20 servings.
