Sweet and Sour Meatballs

List of Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- 1 (12-ounce) bottle chili sauce
- 1 (16-ounce) jar grape jelly
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a medium-size mixing bowl combine the ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, and water. Add the salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Mix well. Shape into walnut-size balls. Bake on an ungreased baking pan for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels.
- In a small saucepan on low heat combine the chili sauce and grape jelly. Bring to a slow boil. Add the cooked meatballs and allow them to simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve hot in a chafing dish.
Makes about 4 dozen.
