    Sauce: Beer Barbecue Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup Guinness Stout
    • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tsp each salt and pepper
    • 1 Tbsp chili powder
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 cups catsup
    • 1 tsp liquid smoke


    Instructions


    1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until sauce thickens.

      Brush sauce over chicken, beef, or pork, and barbecue over low-heat coals.

      Yield: About 3 cups
